not much going on here, but i have yet to really have a beer from these guys that felt particularly inspired. the wheat malt base is bland, there is just a slight cut grass hop character in the finish, and its too full bodied and under carbonated to serve what i have to believe its original purpose was, which is as a warm weather refresher. it almost has a staleness to it, and with the lack of much grain flavor, the beer seems dull. maybe a slight floral character to the hops and a little vegetal, but im reaching here. its just an average yellow beer all up, better than macro stuff, but really unimpressive. i know this brewery has had some issues, a move, and all of that, but it shouldnt be hard to make this beer taste better than it does. whats going on with these guys?

Well....a not-so-much-a-hit right here. While there may be wheat malt and unmalt in there, this more tastes and looks like an adjunct lager.
Pale, clear, light golden/yellow color. A good white head disappears quickly to nothing.
Mostly malt aroma. Faded wheat and citrus rinds. Faded hops. Stale.
The finish on this is the best part. Hops come in to end the stale malt flavors that start in the middle after a quick sweetness, and then go on a bit longer than wanted. Quick carbonation helps rid the palate of this unpleasantness, but not all the way.
Disappointed with this one from a solid brewery
EDIT: I've read some previous reviews and am surprised most stated that this beer is hazy and unfiltered. Maybe I got a bad one, for this beer is definitely filtered and clear

A very carbonated, hazy yellow bodied, frothy white headed beer. Looks good for the style (unfiltered).
Aroma is nothing more than faint malt notes.
Taste is more substantial with a heftier malt and grain character (light and biscuit-like). There's a faint banana taste in there. Bitterness is nice and soft; rather understated yet balances with the grains and lasts to the end. Finishes wet and juicy...
Mouthfeel is medium and smooth. Carbonation is just right.
A pretty good American wheat beer. Substantial enough to bring noticeable distinction to the palate. Perhaps not an exceptional example of the style, but certainly worth having again...

12 fl oz bottle served in a weizen glass, reviewed live:
A - Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a white, one finger head. The head is thin, and retention is awful.
S - Bland yeast, generic wheat, light lemon and some crystal malt. Boring, mild and pretty uninviting.
T - There's really not much flavor other than the yeast. It doesn't even provide any esters. It's watery and uneventful. Light wheat and cereal grain lead to an odd, medicinal finish. Just plain wrong.
M - Light bodied, smooth, and wet. Bad.
D - Not even a good attempt at the style. It's flavorless, boring and uninspired. I'll pass on this one again.
