A: Pours a lightly hazy golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale orange + peach + pale golden yellow + bright yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall slightly creamy foamy off-white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 35% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal + pine hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + bready + grainy + lightly toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + bready + grainy + lightly toasted malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal + pine hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of softness mid-body.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and an interesting combination of softness + bitterness in the mouthfeel of this beer. Enjoyable though not nearly as citrusy as I expected.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like grapefruit pith, semi-maltiness, orange, and intense pine character.
This isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's still not superb or anything. It's a bit astringent and malty, but the grapefruit addition is decently well-integrated, and doesn't overwhelm or anything.
This is light bodied, crisp, and very clean, with a decent enough drinkability.
I expected a lot less out of this one than I ended up getting. It's not too bad.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, small foamy head, lacing. Bitter aroma, grapefruit peel. Taste seems light on the grapefruit but still packs a tangy bitterness. Floral, woody.

This brew has lovely orange color, which seemed quite promising. The aroma, however, was not particularly suggestive of citra hops. On the palate it is a modest, unassuming IPA, with just a hint of citrus evident against the expected flavor of an American IPA. The mouth feel lingers pleasantly enough and leaves just the right degree of bitterness as the parting note.
Much subtler citrus character than offerings from some other craft brewers (I'll mention Deschutes and Southern Tier as examples), but it's a disappointment ONLY if the "tsunami" has you expecting a real citrus wallop.

"A tidal wave of citrusy hop bitterness, flavors, and aroma." They're not lying.
Very interesting flavors in this brew. Too Hoppie for me, but that doesn't make it bad. If you're an IPA fan, you'll like this!
