Sweet start. Good chocolate tones. Strange ending notes.... A bit like alum? This is a solid stout, drinkable. Average on the whole. The starting flavors are its best part.

The brewer brags that "This dark brown and nearly opaque Oatmeal Stout goes down silky smooth". That's no brag, that's a fact! This is one rich and tasty brew, perhaps my favorite of the Parkersburg Brewing Company.
