This one pours a golden yellow color, with a small fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This doesn't smell much like coffee. It smells like a basic lightly hopped blonde ale.
It kind of tastes like somebody who had coffee yesterday breathed near this. There's just so little coffee flavor here. The blonde underneath is not compelling enough to get over the lack of coffee here.
This is light bodied, clean, and pretty drinkable, with a pretty good crispness to it. This section is about the only good thing to report on this beer.
It's cool to try my first West Virginia beer, but it was quite underwhelming overall.

12oz can into a tall glass. Lot # no help in determining freshness.
Looks fair enough. Slightly hazy glassy yellow body. Small bright white head shrinks to a ring, spotted lacing.
Light coffee aroma.
On tasting, it's pretty smooth. Coffee is not overdone, no harshness. Light and easy drinking.
Mouth medium, finish a little coffee. Faint drying bitterness left in the mouth, which doesnt last.
Overall, well put together beer, light hand with the coffee, solid all around.

Taster at brewery. Pale golden, wispy head. Light coffee aroma. Taste starts with gentle coffee bitterness, minor sweet notes. Picking up some chocolate.

12oz can poured into a goblet
A- pours a hazy orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that has good retention and eventually leaves some lacing behind
S- earthy and herbal coffee, cream, toasted grains
T- grainy with a light herbal hop note, followed by very light undertones of coffee that adds just a hint of chocolate. The finish is dry and malty, with that coffee barely sticking through, a hint of a vegetal note lingers
M- medium-light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp finish
O- an interesting take on a typically boring style

Pours a perfect gold, lightly carbonated, head dissipates quickly. Upfront coffee smell, not something I'm used to in a blonde beer. Nice easy drinking taste of coffee, but not strong like in darker beers...almost like a cappuccino. Feel is quite nice a bit of velvet. Nice beer, I could drink a few of these.
