A fizzy, yellow beer that pours transparent with lots of carbonation and good, clean head. The bouquet is virtually non-existent: even after dipping my nose almost all the way into my pint glass, I struggled to find much aromatics--but, given the style, this may not be too surprising.
The flavor is bland, not that different in body, texture, or flavor than most of the major American macro-brews, and I was certainly confused as to why a brewpub would bother spending its time and money on something that is no different than what's already available one thousand times over on the market. The initial bitterness of the beer is quickly dissipated by a watery, flavorless wash through the mouth that leaves an acrid aftertaste.
The body is light, and, if this is your sort of style, then I suppose that it's rather drinkable (or at least as drinkable as a PBR). For me, this was a disappointing show for the world of craftbrewing.
