This one a gift from my good friend and Phytogen cotton seed representative Marvin Stewart. Thanks buddy!

Pours a chill hazed reddish gold or pale amber producing little more than a finger of beige, frothy, somewhat lasting head. It leaves behind a thin surface cap, but moderate collar ring below a nice half inch of lace. Aroma is heavenly resinous pine, floral and earthy; there is a citrus hint with caramel malt, rye spice and a hint of something faintly sour and diacetyl. I'm not sure it's supposed to be there but it is not distracting in fact it's kind of interesting. Taste is up front pine, earthy herbal, thin hints of citrus and tropical hops backed by rye spice and caramel malt sweetness. Finishes with a low-moderate hop bite and bitterness that intensifies little but lingers long in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low-moderate carbonation; smooth and light in the mouth. In the first third of the pour this beer seems pretty straightforward but it's complexity improves towards the bottom of the glass. The rye is a nice touch. A beer I will definitely try again. Touché Lake Tribe!

Nice dry malty taste at the end, decently hoppy, nothing too extreme. If you like Amber beers and IPAs this is for you, I’m not the biggest amber guy so I think it’s ok. Nothing to write home about but pretty good.

Pour has a light reddish amber color with an under-carbonated head of foam. The head does have a variety of different sized bubbles. The aroma has a well-balanced malt component with strong scents of a general earthy bitterness, citrus, and sour citrus with lighter notes of pepper, cut grass, and caramel sweetness. The taste has the earthy notes and citrus notes come through the strongest, with the sour notes being more pronounced on the palate than on the nose. The mouthfeel is thin and the finish is particularly short for an IPA. This IPA is not wildly complex or challenging but it is amazingly sippable and pleasant.
