This hazy, juicy IPA showcases the finest citra hops we could find. Intensely tropical and citrusy, we think you will be amazed by how much complexity can come from a single hop variety.

Got in a trade with AZBeerDude72. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Great soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Citra showcase as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

16oz can acquired via trade from AZBeerDude72. Thanks, man!
A: Poured into a 16oz shaker pint glass (tulip glass was unavailable). No canning date. Citra Single Hop IPA pours a beautiful turbid-orange color with a fluffy white head that settles into a thin lacing. This is very much a modern-looking IPA but I just had to knock a few decimals off for a lack of canning date (sorry!)
S: lots of citrus, which is expected given the Citra varietal. aroma is of oranges, pineapple and a bit of grapefruit rind.
T: again, heavy citrus on the palate. i'm getting more oranges-- tangerines and nectarines specifically as well as some mango. grapefruit is there and adds a bit of bitterness to the hop profile. thankfully the malt sweetness shines through nicely and balances everything quite well. what a great drinking IPA!
F: smooth mouthfeel, finishes a bit dry which is great.
O: this is a very fun beer to drink. apparently i moved from Arizona way too soon. can't wait to check out these guys next time i'm in the Sonoran desert!

Picked up a 16 oz mason jar from the Craft Beer Quick Stop earlier today for $4.00.
Beer decanted a cloudy orange with a beautiful white head that has some good hang time.
Nose is wonderful! Dank and tropical, fruity and citrusy. Definitely a lot going on from the hop additions.
Taste is a moderate malt base with the grapefruit, mango, and passionfruit melded in nicely. Finish is a moderate rind to let you know you have an IPA.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a fine example of the Citra hop profile by the brewer. Jump on it if you are an IPA fan!

On tap at Flanny's the other day.
The beer pours a light copper amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is text book citra hops, as I pick up considerable tropical fruit, light citrus and a hint of pine. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this well crafted IPA, though it was a tad sweeter than I normally prefer. Still, there was enough hoppy bitterness in the finish to counter the sweetness, making this an easy to appreciate and enjoy IPA. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, with enough hoppy bitterness in the finish to dry out the tropical fruit and noticeable sweetness pretty well. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, and so drinkability in this beer is pretty good.
While nothing extraordinary, this is a well made, easy to appreciate IPA from the folks at Tombstone.

Pours a slightly hazy orange/gold with a white head. Smells of citrus, hops, orange juice, and malt. Tastes of sweet orange juice, slightly bitter hops, orange zest, and light malts. Medium in both body and carbonation. Overall a very good single hopped IPA.

The usual base IPA color, rather orange-hued, very hazy, surprisingly weak head retention. Nice blast of Citra + fruity esters, with a big emphasis on the fruit. Like, really, really fruity. Complemented by some honeyed floral notes. This all fits with a single-hopped Citra brew, I suppose, though I admit that, while eminently pleasant, it also felt a bit dull. Really soft carbonation, bordering on excessively so, which further emphasized the lack of contrast in this beer, at least to my palate. Sweet, tropical/"produce aisle" fruitiness, that's what you're getting here.
