Not too long ago, an independent biologist set out to create the perfect New England IPA yeast. The result was rumored to live up to that lofty goal, so we could not resist trying it out in a beer. We took our flagship IPA and used this amazing new yeast hybrid to further enhance the elegant mouthfeel and add a new dimension of tropical fruit, citrus, and peach. As of the brewing of this batch, a beer with this yeast has never before been commercially packaged!

look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5
A: Turbid gold with rich white foamy head and solid lacing that sticks around.
N: Lots of tropical notes, citrus, peaches, and wheat.
T: Follows the nose, big tropical notes with a solid citrus hit, some peach notes and also grapefruit.
M: Very flavorful with a solid dryness/bite on finish.
O: I loved this beer but to me it misses the mark as a NEIPA. Everything rocked but the dryness/bitterness. For the style that was over the top but if viewed as a traditional IPA this was stellar.
