This hazy, juicy Double IPA features the finest El Dorado, Citra, and Amarillo hops. With a name inspired by a government sign that always elicits a laugh every time we pass into Mexico through a particular port of entry, it's an intensely hoppy explosion of tropical and stone fruits with a unique dank and resinous quality.

This beer pours a murky golden color with a small head. The aroma is citrus, fruity and floral. The taste is the same with some malt & light hop bitterness. Very tasty. Have had for at least 3 years.

Got in a trade with AZBeerDude72. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy deep orange/green/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 8.1% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel and not overly aggressive. Fantastic El Dorado, Citra, Amarillo profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

A: Hazy gold with rich foamy head and very nice lacing.
N: Stone fruit, citrus, mango, and peaches.
T: Very nice citrus hit with lots of mango, peaches, tangerine, plums and grapefruit.
M: Shocking how smooth this double is, ABV is hidden well. Medium to light feel, and clean.
O: Loved this beer, flavors are awesome and the feel is outstanding. Very well done Imperial!

Picked up a 16 oz Mason Jar draft from the Craft Beer Hop Stop 6-14-19 for $4.00. Consumed on 6-16-19.

Beer poured with the look of grapefruit juice with an okay white head that is leaving a little lacing behind.

Nose is very nice, very grapefruit, mango, and passion fruit forward.

Taste follows the nose, grapefruit and orange are very prevalent on top of a light but significant malt base. Mango and passion fruit come in on the back end with a touch of nectarine. FInishes with a nice pulp bitterness, 7/10 on my bitter scale.

Mouthfeel is beautiful as usual, very light and highly refreshing which is amazing for an 8.1 abv brew.

Overall another wonderful beer from the good folks at Tombstone!
