This 6.6% ABV hazy IPA features the finest floor-malted Maris Otter and 66 pounds of hops - 11 pounds each of Amarillo, Simcoe, Idaho 7, and Cascade in the whirlpool and 11 pounds each of Citra and Mosaic in the dry hop. At 6 SRM, it is a juicy orange explosion of citrus, peach, and tropical fruit.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Quick Stop cooler on 9-12-19 for $4.69. Canned on 6-28-19; consumed on 11-21-19. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with an okay smallish head that dissipated quickly.
Nose has notes of orange, peach, and mango.
Taste follows the nose. Smaller pale malt base integrates nicely with orange and peach with a touch of passion fruit and mango at the end. Finish is nicely balanced with minimal bitterness; 4/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall a nice IPA. Unfortunately age is usually not kind to the TBC IPA's - this one held up pretty well but i will have to reevaluate this with the next release.

Got on a trade with AZBeerDude72. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours very hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.6%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft, and not aggressive. Awesome Amarillo, Simcoe, Idaho 7, Cascade, Citra and Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected.

A: Brilliant gold with very nice haziness, 1" foamy head and outstanding lacing that does not fade.
N: Lots of citrus and tropical notes with some malty tones.
T: Very refreshing citrus and tropical hit, malt sweetness and a very light dryness on the finish.
M: Light and clean, very low bitterness and zero ABV feel.
O: This is a perfect summer IPA, clean and full flavored but very light feeling so it does not weight you down. One of my favorite to come from Tombstone, just a good beer.
