Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 3-3-20 for $4.49. Canned on 2-26-20; consumed 5-14-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured black with a nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is nice, malt base has nuts and a touch of vanilla.
Taste is very nice, large malt base is fused quite well with the hops, vanilla, and hazelnut. Finishes with just a touch of sweetness but well balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium to large bodied and very silky smooth.
Overall i am a little skeptical of vanilla adjunct beers as sometimes too much of a good thing is not good. But the collaborative brewers did a nice job with a light touch of vanilla and hazelnuts. Recommended if you can find it.

Received a can in a trade courtesy of one of the head brewers of Innocence. Shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a super dark brown almost black with next to no head and jus tthin wisps, however, the legs on this are really, really nice.
S - Aromas of chocolate, lighly fudge. Flashes of vanilla with a little bit of roasty slightly sweet hazelnut. The finish has a rather strong flash of booze unfortunately.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with a very bitter chocolate and roast , the vanilla is pleasant with some nice nutty notes, almost Nutella like. The finish is slightly boozy with flashes of an acrid bitterness that blends with the harshness of the booze.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, little creamy, alcohol hidden here and there but does pop up as it warms.
O - Overall this was a decent enough stout. The adjunts are pleasant but that bitter acrid roast really clashes with the rest of the beer. Other than that it's rather enjoyable.

Pours a smaller tan fluffy head with lighter retention, very little lacing, thick coating on the glass with decent legs, pitch black thick beer
Nose brings some nice stout, mild roasted malt, dark chocolate cocoa, mild hazelnut and general very light nutty, flash of alcohol on the back end, raw vanilla
Taste rich dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted cocoa beans, little roasted coffee, fair smooth vanilla, creamy vanilla ice cream, creamy light nutella like hazenut, then a sharp bitter roast and spicy hop notes, bitter dark chocolate and slight acrid notes, some alcohol flavor late as well that mixes with the sharp roast to add an extra unpleasant character, although it's not terrible, drier mild sticky finish, bit more hot alcohol
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med carb, a bit of tingly alcohol
Overall not bad, the vanilla is quite nice, hazelnut is OK but could have been a bit more, that sharp roasted bitterness and a little acrid,

A: Black with tan foamy head and solid lacing that lingers pretty well.
N: Big hazelnut and vanilla notes with some chocolate, burnt sugar, malt, and oat.
T: Really nice hazelnut flavors on this, vanilla and chocolate popping. Fantastic char and burnt sugar flavors. Mild bite and zero ABV feel.
M: Smooth and really flavor forward with a nice bite that evens it all out. Balanced is the key word, everything works.
O: An outstanding stout, flavors are amazing and its so clean and easy to drink.
