Picked up a 16 oz single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 6-2-20 for $2.75. Canned on 5-9-20; consumed 8-8-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured amber with a nice off white head with the original pour.
Nose has a decent dose of the Beachwood smoked malts and not much else.
Taste is smoked malts that blend nicely with the balancing hops. Finishes in a thirst quenching satisfying manner, much to my surprise.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and fairly smooth.
Overall a pretty good effort for a style not seen often outside of Bamberg.

A: Cola color with thick foamy head and sticky lacing.
N: Smokey malt, dark chocolate, some caramel.
T: A really nice roasted/smoke malt goodness with a dark chocolate bitterness and some caramel sweetness mixed in.
M: Full flavored and rich, minor bite.
O: Loved this beer, so refreshing to see this style coming out more.
