This hazy DIPA features Pils malt and rye in addition to roughly six pound per barrel of Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, and Comet hops. The result is a peachy, tropical, and citrusy juice bomb with a uniquely zesty and slightly spicy rye character.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy goldenstraw with a one finger head; strong retention with streaks and dots of lacing
Smell: Spicy rye and overripe pineapple aromatics, with piney tones supporting
Taste: Spicy rye and overripe pineapple flavors forward; through the middle, piney bitterness emerges, in the middle, and the finish is boozy
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: As much as I liked the Rye IPA, I find this unbalanced and boozy with very little tropical character
Thanks, kevindp9, for the opportunity

Picked up a 16 oz mason jar draft from the Craft Beer Quick Stop 12-3-20 for $2.50 as part of their 50% off promo on a 2nd draft purchase. Brewed in late November; consumed 12-5-20.
Beer poured an applesauce turbid gold with a minimal head.
Nose is wonderful, very peachy, tropical, and citrus forward.
Taste is a large but lighter pale and rye malt base that presents a huge peach ester that combines wonderfully with mango and grapefruit hopping. Finishes with a huge peach pit and grapefruit pith bitterness; 8/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel.
Overall a very pungent brew that was enjoyable to have!
