Had on tap. Reddish brown pour with no head, the same as the original. Smell though has the kviek yeast added to the dark fruit malt dominance, bringing the barley out more, less booze and oxidation. Taste is a bit odd at first with the kviek yeast ngaf and punching through the sweet malt and barley, but then as the warm booze sets in the aftermath and the dark fruit reign down it actually is quite pleasing. Feel is still weird with the yeast fulfilling the barley's usual role of rustic snarl, malts still run though after the initial burst, warm but not boozy. A fun unique experiment!
