On tap at Winfield Grill in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very ugly and murky pond-water yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like raw vegetal hops, booze, and sweet malt.
This is wrong in basically every way the style can go wrong. The hop flavor is muddled, and exceedingly bitter, with an almost chunky flavor to it.
This is not really drinkable, as the bitterness just lingers too long on the palate. It's also kind of thin.
Triphammer is not one of the better breweries in town. They have a few good beers- unfortunately, this is not one of them.
