Brewed for Memorial Day 2021, as part of a four-pack honoring three men (Steve Skoda, Danial "Danny" Prial, and Christian Koch) who perished in a helicopter accident while on duty in Western NY. Four beers were brewed by Brindle Hous, Heroes, Rising Storm, and Triphammer.
"Memorial Day is set aside to pay tribute to all military personnel, from every service branch, and from every time period in American History, who have given the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. For generations, veterans have honored us with their service. Medal of Honor Recipients, Prisoners of War, Generals and Admirals, as well as the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, that nobody has ever heard of... they all performed honorable service to this nation, and way too many of them gave their life to keep us free. These are the brave men and women that have sacrificed to keep this nation free for the last 239 years and they deserve our respect."
A portion of the proceeds, from this beer, are donated to Veteran's Outreach Center in Rochester, NY.

Pours sunset gold with an orangish/mango highlight (SRM 4-5). The beer is almost clear, with a light, honey haze. A thin, off-white head is formed from fine bubbles that reach to one-quarter inch before falling to a veil. Spotty lace leaves a fine coating on a Pretentious Glass Company dimpled mug.
The aroma opens with fresh tropical mango, followed by notes of orange and pine needles. Light floral scents provide highlights throughout.
The initial sweetness is quickly overpowered by bitterness that builds to moderate strength. Orange and mango are equal partners. The finish is pleasant and mild as it lingers, keeping the fresh fruit alive. Warmth improves the flavor.
Mild astringency works with a medium body and silky texture. The carbonation is modest and prickly. The alcohol is about as expected.
Tags of Honor is an easy drinking, East Coast version of the style. I found it to be very well done and a worth tribute. I imagine this could be almost sessionable during a long, casual conversation.
