First time at the Playalinda Brewing Company and their first offering wasn't too bad at all.
The Raise It Brown Ale comes in a pint glass all dark, almost black, with a tan thin head. The head has little staying power, but it has good lacing down the glass. There is a distinct smell of citrus mingled with hops, but you get more hops than citrus when you partake. There was more aftertaste than I prefer, lingering longer than I like. Nonetheless, it was a decent beer with a nice punch to it.
