Blind tasted apart from name, Style, ABV%.
L- Deep chestnut and appears to have a very minor haze. Head is 2mm of pale tan micro bubbles. For a barley-wine (and it's ABV%) the foam cap is holding up very well.
S- That rich note.... with a hint of slightly sour stewed plums.
T- Boom! First sip of beer today :) That 'winey' note. Dry/hoppy zing on the roof of the mouth. A pungent fruity (stewed fruits) aspect. Then dry hops on the back of the throat. Barley Wine can be a bit hit and miss for me but this one is reeeally nice.
F- Part of which is because it's not over-rich, never-mind outright sweet. I've served this after 3-4hrs in the fridge, and it comes over well. It's clearly a big beer but the ABV% is suprisingly discreet... for now, lol....
O- ... which is due to very high quality and considered brewing. It's a biggun', perfect for sharing. Lovely beer, would happily drink again, great brewing has gone into this. Two thumbs up. Oh by the way, now 10mins later the head is still completely intact and it's formed some lacing - amazing!
------------------------------
Be Aware:: It's bottle conditioned. If you top-up a small glass there is a risk that near the end you'll be picking up heavy sediment incl 'lumps'. Just so you know...

Rated + reviewed, I'll now read the bottle and mention anything of note:
750ml capped+waxed neck. Bought from Trembling Madness in York/UK. £11.50
Brewed with seven (listed) hops. 'This is one of only 400 bottles'. Indeed, there it is bottle #162/400.
Brewed Oct-22, bottled Nov-22, BB: Nov-2025.
