Tasted at the brewery taproom in March 2023.
L - Very light straw color and brilliant clarity, with a constant stream of bubbles rising through the glass. Thin sheet of white head with a thick ring of lace. This could easily be mistaken for a pilsner.
S - Assertive spicy hop aroma, along with black pepper that could be a fermentation note.
T - Sweet malt, more like a vanilla cupcake than bread. Spicy hops again, along with bubblegum that heightens the sweet impression. Low black pepper in the finish, along with a distracting vegetal, bell pepper note.
F - Medium to thick body with a slight mouth-coating quality. Medium hops bitterness. Low alcohol warmth for this ABV.
O - This is a good tripel, but not outstanding to me. The appearance is wonderful and nose good for the style, but the hops and green pepper flavors aren’t what I’ve seen in the style.

A bit mundane but overall easy tricking and no signs of any off flavors, so many local Belgians seem to produce band aid recently. Worth having a glass
