Tasted at the brewery taproom in March 2023.
L - Light copper or orange color with good clarity. Light tan head is thin but persistent with lots of lacing.
S - Sweet aromas from malt and berry-like hops. Maybe some citrus at a very low level.
T - Flavors blend sweet, bready malt with hops that reflect citrus and berry notes.
F - Medium to thick body. Moderate carbonation. Strong hops bitterness but not quite enough to balance the malt sweetness. warming alcohol.
O - This beer is OK, but seems disappointing and off-style whether you call it an American Strong or DIPA. It’s a bit overly thick and sweet for me.
