A simple, but well-made porter. One of the best offerings from this brewery.

Really dark brown color with brown head. Aroma has mostly roasted malt notes and generic grains. Taste starts with malty, not sweet at all, continues with an astringent roasted malt flavor and lingers with roasty bitterness on the finish and aftertaste. Light to medium cola-like body and carbonation. Overall it's a decent porter that is similar in taste with a coffee substitute made from roasted grains.
