Located in downtown Yakima, this place is an absolute gem, and has become pretty much a must stop for me and the wife any time we're in Yakima.

This place is pretty sizeable, and I like the layout of the place. There's a large size open wrap around bar in the center of the main dining room (probably holding at least 30 or 40 seats), and then a fair number of tables and chair in the large, airy main room (very high ceilings). The place otherwise has something of an upscale, modernistic vibe to it, though it's not at all stuffy. In addition to the restaurant, there's also the adjoining Ice House sports bar here, which I think has a separate tap list (have only glanced inside; the wife and I always eat in the dining room). The tap list varies, but they always have a couple of Bale Breaker beers on tap, as well as one or two experimental beers from a small pilot brewery I believe the BB brewer is involved with. Often times, you'll see local stuff on tap here you won't find anywhere else in town (at least not that I've found). The last time we were here, I want to say there were 15 or 16 beers on tap, mostly consisting of local and regional craft offering, but I think with coors light and rainier on tap as well. Service has been up and down the times we've stopped by. The times I've sat at the wrap around bar, it's generally been pretty good, while other times it's been a bit slow (the dining room is sizeable, and sometimes I think there can be a mix up as to which waiter is supposed to wait on which table). Still, everyone has otherwise always been pretty friendly, and we've never had a bad time here. Food is upscale pub grub, but with interesting specials as well (usually). Everything we've gotten here has been quite good, and the portions are sizeable.

I think this place would likely stand out as a great spot pretty much anywhere, but in Yakima, this is really a must visit stop if you're anywhere in the area. This place is highly recommended.

(Note: Will try to provide updated information about the arrangement they have with BB and the pilot brewery stuff available the next time we stop by).
