Uetzinger Metzgerbräu - Hausbrauerei Reichert

Interesting place. Selbstbedienung - self service - you go down to the basement outlet for both the brewery and meat market and you can order a flasche (bottle) or a beer. While I was there, you could order a Bock (yum!) or a lager in a mug, but only the lager in a bottle to go. You can sit upstairs in the brewing room or on the ground floor in the open air. Pleasant and unique. The rauch brats were great as well as the beer!

In Mar 2020, this brewery was declared the Best Brewery in Bavaria by the readers of "Falstaff" a gourmet magazine in Austria.
