Served in a snifter glass from the bottle.
Appearance: Semi thick body coming off black with a dark tan head. Which settled super quick off after a hard pour.
Smell: warm blackberry aroma, almost like a red wine hitting the nose.
Taste: Berry like taste, think of cherry and chocolate fused with hints of Rioja wine. A
Slight woody notes with a douse of oatmeal. The brew says hazelnut, if it's there it's super subtle.
Mouth: Sweet finished which comes off a bit charred. Think a smoke wood note, nothing wrong with it, it's very sticky. Soft carbonation and hard to keep down.
Overall: Super unique, especially compared to it's North American counterparts. Has a red wine feel to the beer coming off lightly smokey, and i do admit lightly. If you see it grab it, hard to hunt if you're not in Europe. Always in a glass, Salud!

From decervecitas. In Teku glass. Watching Blade Runner 2049. Too intense woody oak notes, hiding the marvelous balance, creamyness and originality of the base version. Hazelnut not noticeable now
