After a sampling of the beers, I settled of the Smokewood while my spouse had a Wheeble Wooble - both enjoyable for your different taste

Cool spot tucked into a residential area of the Toledo/Maumee area. Good service. 10-12 beers on, crowlers to go. Tried 4 beers, all were solid. A great stop if you're in the area

The newest of Toledo's breweries current to this review, it's in a plaza basically on the corner of Detroit and Byrne bordering Maumee. It's a good space, clean but creative, seating in the middle that you make your way past to get to the bar.
There's a good variety of beer on tap, and it's definitely a creative process. They run the gamut in styles with lots of creative and unique recipes that make for good brews. Firkin Thursdays offer a chance to try one of their house beers in a firkin with different ingredients for one night every week. I would be lax not to mention one of the coolest things there, the manual crowler machine.
Food isn't offered but from my understanding can be brought in from outside. Glasswear and brewery apparel are available for purchase and moderately priced.
It can get a little crowded, but sometimes it's hard to get attention at the bar even if its not, but you can usually get a chance to talk with the couple of owners and brewers, who are happy to chat with customers any time. This brewery is in a great place in its early stages and I'm sure there's plenty more to come.

I was fortunate to be invited to a private gathering here at EBW. They hope to be open to the public by Thanksgiving. The three beers they had on tap were solid. I loved the ambrosia maple woodwork in the taproom. EBW will be an excellent addition to the emerging beer scene in Toledo.

This is a new start up brewery, so I will cut them some slack. The beers are great! They only have 3 on tap and have 3 more in the fermenters. I am looking forward to drinking many creative beers at EBW.
