Had on tap. The maple barrels, brought a woody smokiness, where as I had hoped they would bring a boozy sweetness to pair with the very robust wheat. Instead we are left with a robust, chewable, wheaty, and strong liquid cereal, unsweetened of course. Hard to drink more than a sip at a time. Smells like burnt shredded wheat. Even for a strong ale this one felt unbalanced and missed a mark in the barrels.
