A friend brought this back from Amsterdam.
Pours a giant fizzy overcarbonated head that takes up 3/4 of the glass, fades very slowly too, little lacing, slight hazy mostly clear amber to auburn like color
Nose big sweet toasted grainy malts, biscuity caramel toffee and a little candy, a little malt extract like syrupy reddish malt, quite fruity as well, just a hint of herbal hop, that typical macro like corn-grassy aroma too, DMS
Taste more sweet syrupy malts, very Euro macro style sweet sticky adjunct or malt extract thing, a bit more DMS corn, toffee, caramel, syrup, toasted reddish malts, big spicy herbal hops, other yeast off flavors from continuing to ferment in the bottle way too much, vegetal maybe, sticky sweet finish, a bit drier, some alcohol flavor and warmth late
Mouth is med to fuller bod but syrupy, waaaaay too much carbonation, a bit of warming alcohol
Overall not the best beer I've had from Amsterdam, although not terrible, there were some off flavors and too much carbonation, under-attenuated when bottled, not finished or polished, needs some work
