Appearance - Pours a hazy caramel colour with two fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, peach, citrus and orange peel, apricot, pineapple, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops upfront. The peach, citrus and orange peel, apricot, pineapple follow next. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A highly sessionable and crushable NE IPA from Dog Island. This is my first offering from this brewery and it didn't disappoint. Look forward to other offerings from this brewery.
