Appearance - Pours a hazy gold with four fingers of frothy white head that leaves some poofy lace on the glass.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, pineapple, peach, papaya, citrus and orange peel, hint of apricot, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops upfront. The pineapple, peach, papaya, citrus and orange peel, and hint of apricot come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the tropical fruits lingering.
Overall - A pleasant IPA. I think this is more of a New England IPA rather than the American IPA as advertised on Untappd due to the predominant citrus and tropical notes in this brew. I don't see anything wild about this IPA but it certainly is a pleasant New England IPA.
