Appearance - Pours a cloudy straw gold with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - pineapple, earthy and leafy noble hops, pilsner malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - hint of pineapple upfront then quickly goes into the earthy and leafy noble hops. The pilsner malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp with the hint of pineapple, malts, and hops lingering.
Overall - An interesting concept of incorporating pineapple into a pilsner. I feel as though the aroma was better than the taste but for me I wish there was a touch more pineapple. I had my fair share of pineapple brews in my past travels in Maui and those had pineapple at the forefront. Otherwise, a refreshing brew.
