Appearance - Pours a warm medium amber with two fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - bready malts, caramel, earthy and leafy hops, lemon and honey.
Taste - Bready caramel malts followed by moderate bitterness from the earthy and leafy hops. There is a slight hint of citrus and sweetness from the honey.
Mouthfeel - Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. A tad thin. Hops linger in the aftertaste.
Overall - Nice to see another local brewery available here in Cowtown. An English IPA that delivers on both aroma and taste but lacks in the mouthfeel. A minor adjustment would make this a stand out.
