Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, slight roasted malt, floral notes, herbal notes, hint of oatmeal, and pale malt. Fits the style of a Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong sweet malt, yeast, slight roasted malt, floral notes, herbal notes, hint of oatmeal, and pale malt. Overall, herbal and floral notes stand out with a good aroma and feel.
