Downey Brewing Company

Large building with part of it used as a brewery and some for storage. The bar seats about 12 with ample tables and chairs nearby. A pool table is also available. No food a few snacks bagged snacks for purchase. Food trucks for events. Nice friendly place that needs a little work to make it a little more comfortable.

We visited on the first cool weekend of the fall in Oct 2019. 8 beers on tap, mostly "old school" German & Czech style. The German pils was our favorite. A couple of the beers had an off-putting skunky odor in the nose. Not sure the source of that. Cool warehouse vibe with an actual board room table from a legal office and some very random furniture. Heating and cooling in the warehouse taproom can be a challenge so dress in layers.

No food service but you can bring your own food in or get it delivered. Only 8 beers on tap but a good range. I like how it was an old warehouse and they've turned into a small little brewery.

This place is somewhat off the beaten path in a warehouse like area...but inside its pretty cool....large space for bean bag toss, etc. Decent size bar and surrounding tables. The beer was ok. The bar keeps were cool and willing to offer samples. They had 8 of their beers on tap. Overall it's a neat place and worth a visit if you're in the area....but not a destination place.

Stopped by at 6 on a Thursday. The place is just a bay in an industrial park. No A/C so a bit muggy on a summer evening. No real bar either, just a few tables and chairs. 7 of thier own on tap, mix of German Styles and IPAs when I was there. A very unique place, but zero frills. The beer was solid

 

 

Great eclectic warehouse space with 8 rotating beers. So much room for activities! The staff is great and its really cool to drink in the actual brewery. A little tough to find, but totally worth the adventure.
