Sample at GBBF Winter. Dark, clear amber, filmy head. Sweet, malty, bready aroma. Taste brings in subtle rye notes, cola, lightly sweet. Dries out in the finish.

Tasted from a real ale (cask-conditioned) tap at The Albert pub in London on a recent business trip. Amazing clarity and beautiful red color. Great, malty, classic English ale aromas. The flavors were a bit muddled for me and nothing in particular stood out there, but it was overall a very good ale on cask.

Pint at JDW Sutton Surrey.
A: Mahogany, no haze but thick looking, medium sized head, Lot’s of lacing clung to the side of the glass.
S: Started with citrus fruits combined with musty malt and gave way to sour apples.
T: Combined citrus fruits with molasses, slightly bitter finish.
M: Medium body, low carbonation, smooth, went down well.
O: Very nice autumnal session beer, good balance.
