Visited here and Green Cheek tonight. Both places were solid. Gunwhale was a bit more laid back. I'd give a slight edge to Gunwhale for beer quality, but anyone visiting should definitely hit both places.

The smallest of the three breweries on the 2900 block of Crescent Ave in Costa Mesa. They make up for their size with the quality of their offerings.

I enjoy this little place! Not the biggest inside, but does have outside seating on the patio. I like the Art Decco and chill non crowded atmosphere. Haven’t had a bad beer from these guys.

Nice tasting room in an industrial area close to the popular LAB/CAMP in Costa Mesa. Beers are all average or above. Solid service and I feel the beers will only improve as the brewery gets it's legs under it.
