American IPA, light in color, featuring a load of hops to deliver an earthy front followed by juicy and floral end notes. Enjoy the aromas of tangerine, papaya and grapefruit in a delightfully flavorful IPA.

An average pour from a 16-oz. can yields a finger of off-white foam with long retention and irregular islands of lace. Orange-straw color, cloudy and translucent.
Hops greet the nose, herbal and grassy with some lawn mower bag funk and citrus.
White and wheat bread (dough and fresh baked) in the background.
Lemon begins the taste with bright hops and a solid almost sweet malt backbone of pale and toasted malt. Average bitterness and semi-dry at first, citrus (mostly lemon) and rich malt battle to a balanced tie. A Midori-like melon taste and crusty wheat toast also compete. The finish is smooth yet lasting, the aftertaste is bitter/dry and lasts with a peppery spice.
Medium plus body/carbonation with a soft rich feel. Almost smooth, a little course at the end. Alcohol is well hidden, almost session-able.
Hoppy and malty like an IPA, there is a NE influence in the cloudiness and citrus.
Above average by style standards in many other ways.

Lived up to it's name. A little smoother and richer than Lord Hobos or Hoponius when I had it on draft.

On draft. Not sure how fresh it was. Substantial malt bill for an IPA these days. But ultimately a pedestrian IPA.
