16-oz. can into a 20-oz. mug. A strong pour was needed to creates a finger sized short lived off-white head with little lacing. A cap was present to the end.
Reddish brown color appears amber-brown when held up to light.
Semi-sweet smell has some roasted malt notes and floral hops.
Taste starts bitter then quickly changes to semi-sweet, the middle is sweeter with caramel malt up front and roasted nuts. Moderate hop bitterness at the finish. A slight bitter aftertaste does not linger.
Medium bodied and light on the carbonation, the sweet malts add richness to the feel with a dry finish.
This was a gift I enjoyed and would revisit, well balanced and matches the style guidelines. Sessionable easy drinker.

Just moved to Hopkinton and found that a brewery just opened. I really hope they make great beer. Served in crowlers is awesome!
Pours a light fizzy head that hits a finger and fades fairly quickly, no lacing, fairly hazy auburn reddish tan brown color.
Nose brings sweet caramel candy malts, toasted red malts, sweet caramel, a little biscuity in the background, some toffee and nutty creamy notes, maybe hazelnuts, faint grassy hops.
Taste brings sweet malts, toasted biscuity reddish malt, some caramel and candy notes, plenty of biscuity toasted malts, faint nutty toffee as well, quickly hits with fair bitterness some mild spicy grassy hops, turning a touch herbal, a big hazelnut like flavor on the back end which is weird. Finish dries quite a bit and attempts to bring a clean finish as the malts mostly dry off, a little residual stickiness and spicy hops lingering.
Mouth is med bod, decent small bubble popping carbonation, a touch syrupy sweet.
Overall not bad, the sample I had at the brewery I think was a little better, so maybe this is a different batch as it was pre-canned, but not sure. Decent malt profile, a little too sticky sweet, nuttiness was interesting but seemed a bit out of place, hops are a nice touch though. Could use a few improvements but still good. I'll keep trying it as new batches come out.
