Nitro Tap at the brewery
Big creamy lush nitro like head that never fades, tan colored syrup lacing, pretty much pitch black beer
Nose tons of dark chocolate cocoa, dry Irish stout malt, a little black malt almost roasty, creamy oats, thick dark malt with a hint of coffee and caramel, a little creamy nitro in the background.
Taste rich creamy lush, plenty of nitro out front, creamy nitro, also creamy thick oats, into cocoa and dark chocolate, some cookie dough biscuit like a big dark chocolate oatmeal cookie, and a little black forest cake even though there is no cherry my brain wants to add it in, some caramel and roasted coffee notes, black malt, a little bitterness from the roast mostly, a little dark choc fudge. Finish drier a little sticky lingering nitro, dark chocolate oatmeal cookie and cake, and a little lactose lingering
Mouth is med to fuller bod, super creamy lush almost velvety, good nitro style carb.
Overall really good, I'm usually not a nitro fan unless it works with the beer and this really works. Basically a dark choc black forest cake and I swear I'm starting to taste a touch of cherry, and dark choc oatmeal cookie blended into cream.
