Tap at the brewery.
Big creamy thick frothy head fades slowly thick lacing, very hazy slight murky honey orange color
Nose hops, more traditional spicy citrus C hops, some citrus, fruity stone fruit, some toasted grainy sweet malts, grassy
Taste starts with sweet candy malt, sweeter than I expected, toasted grainy slight reddish hop, hint caramel amber malt, quickly into big hops, again more traditional mild spicy grassy earthy, stone fruit and citrus, candied citrus peel, herbal notes later and turns spicy and fair bitterness on the finish, drier slight sticky finish, mild tropical notes and more citrus seem to come through a touch as it warms. I'm also getting hints of fruity esters like a banana note, I wonder what yeast they used.
Mouth is med bod, good carb, little soft creaminess
Overall not bad, more traditional ipa good bitterness and malt balance, would have liked a bit more drying, and not something I would necessarily seek out these days, but good for the style.
