Draft at the brewery
Rich creamy dense head with great retention, good lacing, hazy cloudy orange gold color
Nose lots of citrus pith, orange rind, doughy grainy malt, light earthy pine, hint papaya like Tropical
Taste very pithy again, orange juice, citrus rind, doughy creamy malt with medium bitterness and sharp rind, hint of dank tropical and flash of earthy pine, turning to spicy hop bitterness late, drier finish, big hop bite lingering, back end gets quite grassy leafy like fresh whole hops
Mouth is med bod but a tad watery, a bit soft juicy, medium to a bit higher carb
Overall not bad, could use a bit more body to prop it up, fresh dry hop grassy leafy spicy bite gets a little bit too much late too, but otherwise solid
