Opening this bottle with its wax cover is an imperial pain in the butt.
Once freed, it pours beautiful black with gentle lace retention. The nose is boozy chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and bourbon. This one has added coconut as well.
The taste is powerful, though I can't detect the coconut. More bitter than Rouge River's regular barrel aged stout. Very sticky. All in all it's good, but not as good as Never Say Never, though it's $2 more.
