A traditional Irish style Red Ale with a focus on the maltiness and creaminess of the malted barley and wheat used. Nice roasted caramel and chocolate flavors.

Sampling a cold 16 oz (473ml) can , picked up at beer store in town two days ago and in my fridge since. Date stamp is best before 2/19/2024.
Pouring cold into my plastic sample cup. The beer pours a pretty dark amber to mahogany color, surprisingly little of the light passes through my cup. A khaki colored head of 1.5 cm foams up and fades to a sturdy edge layer in my cup. There is some scattered lattice on the sides of the cup.
Aroma on this one is toasted grains, hints of caramel and a little grassy hop note. Aroma is sort of mild but fits the style. No hint of the ABV here.
First sip reveals a medium body and fine tingly carbonation. the texture is smooth and the beer is pretty easy to drink.
Flavor is similar to the nose with toasted malts and caramel up front and some grassy hops and then a dry finish where toasted grain lingers on my palate.
This is a pretty straightforward beer and an easy drinker. Nothing to get excited about but tasty for what it is.

Clear deep amber with a modest head. Enticing sweet caramel and chocolate malt nose. Medium malt body, not sweet at all with some dryness to finish. Good for style.
