Ok, TBH, I am not reviewing this beer naked. I had the blood orange puree added and what an amazing boost it gave this brew. The orange citrus notes combine with the citrusy hops in this IPA to create a nice balance between all the key flavors present here: Sweet, sour and bitter. The effervescence is somewhat fine and remains stable with the puree added. It gives this beer a creamier mouthfeel. If you try this IPA at their brewery, a shot of blood orange puree in your pour changes your life. People who have never liked IPAs like this combo. Very well done indeed!

16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on it. Thanks to my buddy Denis for getting this for me, purchased at the brewery 2 or 3 weeks ago. Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with about an inch and a half off-white head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like herbal/floral hops, caramel malt and a bit of citrus peel. Taste is similar to the aroma, I think the herbal/floral hoppiness stands out here but there's also some caramel and bready malt noticeable too. Bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was OK overall, just thought the flavor was a little too floral for my liking. Still worth a try if you've never had it before!
