2019 version.
Hazy milk chocolate with a small light head.
Strong oak and vanilla with a pleasant Bourbon heat. Honey, milk chocolate.
Cinnamon, oddly, I don’t think this is spiced. Chocolate comes on strong, almost like a creamy hit chocolate, perhaps spiked with vanilla forward Bourbon. Overall it’s quite sweet. The finish has herbal notes like anise and cardamom, but is mostly clean.
Medium, slick body and medium-low carbonation.
The Bourbon flavors are really nice; present, but not overpowering or too hot. I don’t really enjoy how herbal it is and the honey comes through, but not the pecans.
