16oz pour at the brewery.
Deep orange, slightly hazed, nice head that stays thick for a good five minutes and laces.
Orange blossom, honey, orange peel, buttery biscuit.
Clementine, wild honey, some alcohol. It’s on the sweet side, but a massive bitterness lends balance.
Medium slick body, ample carbonation, and a slightly gritty finish from the alcohol and hop bitterness.
Hop Fusion is definitely on the right track here; strong bitterness, solid carbonation. Where it veers towards standard imperial IPA pitfalls has to do with perceived alcohol aroma and flavor and malt sweetness.
