16oz can, tulip, no packaging date, but this just became available from the brewery. The can use plain silver with a plain label of black text on white possibly printed on an office printer.
Dark and oily with a head as close to nonexistent as I think I’ve ever seen. There’s really no foam, not even a ring around the glass.
Vinous, rich, vanilla, wood, black licorice, molasses. It smells very much like port with just a little roast.
Fur Slipper is already so sweet that the base beer doesn’t provide much balance. Sweet, vinous, plump overripe plums, oak, char. There is a little booze in the finish, very refined booze though.
Slick, still thin, no carbonation.
I like the port flavors, but they would benefit from some more robust roast or regular stout flavors.
