1st real review of this beer on BA. Consumed July 2019.
Pours a light yellow color with a light amount of cloudiness to it with 1/2" white head. The aroma hit that apricot vibe solidly. Usual aspects of wood, wheat, lemon like sourness beyond the apricot.
Taste rocked, usual sour mash wheat providing a good smack taste wise, but also the levity and snap you want in the mouth feel. Apricot is very nice here, its my fave fruit in beer, and that is no different here. Everything is in that Goldilocks zone, fruit middle ground, sour middle ground, dryness middle ground, abv middle ground (nowadays), acidity middle ground. Brettiness of the beer softens those apricot edges putting it into that medium range zone, just like the carbonation was.
I get a bit tired of being really impressed by beers I can't get and if I can, they are kind of expensive. With that said, man I would definitely throw the cash down for this if I saw it. Thanks leftpaw for bringing it out.
