Wild Ale with Olalliberries Naturally Conditioned with Honey
Universal Traveler was blended from our Berliner Weisse style base beer, as well as an amber sort-of bière de garde that’s been showing up in a lot of our blends lately. The Berliner lends bright fruitiness to highlight the jammy berry character and the bière de garde contributes just enough toasted bread and malt character to give the beer depth and roundness.

After putting together the blend, we aged the beer on Olallieberries from our friends at Two Peas In A Pod farm, up near San Luis Obispo. After four months of aging on the fruit, we canned the beer with our usual addition of local orange blossom honey.
