The apricot harvest last year was completely decimated by the parade of atmospheric rivers that hit California. Most farms we work with had little to none available, but @masumoto_family_farm hooked us up with the previous few apricots they could.
Few & Far is a duo of beers aged on that fruit. It's two single barrel batches lightly fruited with the apricots we could get our hands on. The apricots lend a subtle fruitiness and dried apricot character to the beer, without yelling too loudly about it.

750 mL bottle into a tulip glass
Mimosa-looking brew, super effervescent with a quickly dissipating head.
The nose of full of apricots and honey, touch of grassy floral notes.
Puckeringly tart on the palate, a lot more than the nose portends. Juicy apricots about with drying oak and earthy tea. Long finish with lingering honey sweetness.
Amazingly refreshing brew. Love the additions of locally sourced fruit.
