Poured from a growler.
Appearance - Pours a hazy amber with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - Citrus and floral hops, caramel malts, tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), honey, lemon.
Taste - Mainly citrus and floral hops with a moderate/high bitterness level. Tropical fruits follow along with the caramel malts supporting.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Slight stickiness on the palate with a lingering hop bitterness.
Overall - A stellar DIPA from High Line that display the citrus and floral hop level to a T. If you have an opportunity to try it, or if you are a local Calgarian, make your way over to the brewery and tasting room in Inglewood. On par with some of the best I've tried.
